Who is Doug Jackson?
Doug Jackson is one of the premier personal trainers in the United States. He is also a fitness author and an exercise scientist with research interests in peak performance psychology, stress physiology, and metabolism.
He trains an exclusive group of South Florida’s most influential entrepreneurs, medical professionals, and corporate leaders.
He is driven by a mission “to help as many people as possible enjoy the vast benefits of fitness”.
Doug realized at a young age the impact that fitness could have in someone’s life. He believes that fitness makes us better at everything else we do and that belief inspires him to spread the fitness gospel.
Doug went to school at Bowling Green State University in Ohio and completed a bachelors degrees as an Exercise Specialist and finished a masters degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Psychology.
Doug has been an astute practitioner of physical conditioning techniques for the last nine years and in the process has helped hundreds of people achieve a level of fitness that they had only dreamed of.
Considered one of the fitness industry’s most prolific writers, Doug has written both online and “hard copy” fitness newsletters, contributed chapters to various fitness publications, co-authored the unique Family Fit Plan program, and authored his Fitness Now and Forever program.
In the future he looks forward to helping more and more people achieve their fitness goals, thereby truly making a difference in their lives and impacting both their families and society in general.
Doug is the owner and operator of Personal Fitness Advantage located in Plantation, Florida.
